De La Sol

Sited in the mountains between Gallisteo and Albuquerque, this studio/guest house for a graphic designer is distinguished by its simple massing and stark composition, which refer to the forms of the area's Spanish churches.

Designed to be an object upon and within the landscape, the structure at once stands apart from, and becomes an organic part of its surroundings.
