Homewood Road

A new wing was added to this classic 1940s Los Angeles ranch house, transforming the 'weak' end of the house into a sun-lit, spacious sequence of service rooms and guest accommodations. A light monitor brings daylight into interior rooms. A window seat dormer in the Children's Play Room is both a source of light and part of the ceiling composition. New pantry, laundry room, and expanded Breakfast areas match the cabinetry and palette of the adjacent kitchen.

A new terrace at the back of the house links the old and new wings of the house. The antique brick clad terrace is an outdoor area for dining and family entertainment.
