Windsor Boulevard Porch + Gardens
Throughout, new and existing plant materials shape and sculpt light and space: fig, apple and background foliage were reshaped to contour the sunlight; using a palette of native and drought-tolerant plants, garden areas and views were layered and screened.
A stuccoed outdoor fireplace centers the new porch as a gathering place in the garden, with abstract topiary features sited on the lawn, and aquatic plants established beside the shallow pool. A low-walled patio area and walk, as well as new plantings, were added at the front of the house to provide an expanded sense of privacy to these gardens. |
