Siena Way Gardens
On a hilly site with mature sycamore and live oak trees, a series of gardens was created. The Secret Garden and the Shady Grove form a one-acre woodland bowl where newly planted dogwood and ornamental fruit trees complement the existing camellias. Azaleas, rhododendron and perennials are grouped to enhance the open vistas, walking paths and resting spots.
The pool and children's wading area are set into the rolling terrain, with stone clad surrounding walls and perimeter plantings, all lighted to create evocative nighttime reflections. Antique terra cottas and local stone accent the water and greenery. |
